PERSONALITY At first glance, Izuru seems to be the kind of guy that always has some great woe weighing down on him, and that isn't too entirely off the mark. He is usually caught up in the constant struggle of his loyalty to his friends and those he looks up to and his putting his job first. While he is often shy and nervous in social situations, mostly due to his quiet and polite nature, he is extremely serious about his work and rarely displays any of his usual reserved disposition. On top of that loyal and dependable nature, he is also very trusting. He tends to see the best in people, and once they've won him over, he has trouble seeing whatever wrong they may be doing. In short, he's easily manipulated, never realizing that's what's happening until it's too late. He also tends to hesitate at the wrong times, only knowing when he should have corrected a problem sooner after it's come to the worst possible outcome. He doesn't deal well with direct confrontation or with expressing himself, and often seems a bit on the detached side. Whenever he makes a mistake, he's very hard on himself, not letting it go like he would with others. So that's Izuru in a rather large nutshell. :|RP HISTORY Izuru was born into a family that wasn't exactly rich, but was by no means bad off. Happy upper middle-class family was happy. Or, at least they were. Because when Izuru was still very young? Of course there was the tragic family accident that left one or more parents dead. In his case, both. So he was raised by his grandparents. He was sent to all the good schools but never really made any friends. His naïve and easily pushed around attitude made it difficult to fit in with any kind of crowd and his awkward nature just made that worse. After high school, Izuru decided to join the police force, thinking it to be a noble profession. There he met Renji Abarai, with whom he entered a sort of friendship that continued on past graduation and their entrance onto the force. Through a few years of being shuffled around various precincts, the two lost touch with each other. Up until his restationing, he really hadn't even thought to try to get a hold of his onetime friend. Will they make a reconnect now that they're back in the same town?
